Heat pump boilers

A heat pump boiler is an air/water heat pump that has been specifically developed for heating your tap water. The device uses the same technology as a heat pump: it extracts heat from the air in its environment and converts it into hot water. There are various elements, such as heat exchangers, refrigerants and a compressor, that regulate this process. As a result, heated tap water flows from your tap, for example in the kitchen or bathroom.

A heat pump boiler is an economical and environmentally friendly alternative to a gas boiler. The heat pump boiler does not use gas to heat water, so you can save up to 25% on your gas bill annually.

Thanks to heat pump technology, the aroSTOR draws most of the energy required for sanitary hot water from the ambient air. This allows you to save up to 75% on your energy bill compared to a traditional boiler.

A regular heat pump heats water for heating your entire home and for hot tap water. The heat pump boiler only heats sanitary water for, for example, the kitchen and bathroom.

When a heat pump boiler is connected to your solar panel installation, the solar panels heat the preheated water in the boiler to the desired temperature. This way you use your own generated solar energy directly and avoid high return costs.
