The Sunny Tripower X 12-50, 15-50, 20-50, and 25-50 inverters have three indicator lights: green, blue, and red.

The green light indicates whether the inverter is generating power — i.e., whether the device is operating.

A solid green LED means that energy is being produced. If the green LED is off, no power is being generated — for example, at night. If the green LED is off during daylight hours when the panels are exposed to sunlight, there may be a malfunction. In that case, please contact us.

If you have reset the inverter, the green LED will blink for a while during the startup phase.

The blue light shows the status of the internet connection.

A solid blue LED means that the inverter is connected to another device, usually your internet router. If the blue LED is on but there is still no internet connection, the issue is likely related to your router settings or an outage at your Internet Service Provider.

A blinking blue LED indicates that the inverter is attempting to establish a connection with another device (typically your router) via WiFi. Once a successful connection is made, the LED will change from blinking to a steady light.

The red LED indicates that a fault has occurred. A blinking red LED means the inverter has lost communication with a control device (such as a Sunny Home Manager); the inverter will continue to operate but cannot be remotely managed. A solid red LED means there is a critical fault — please contact our service department.
