Together towards a sustainable future
Founded in 1935, Remeha is a Dutch company based in Apeldoorn. The company is known for its high-quality 'indoor climate solutions' that help make buildings more sustainable. A comfortable indoor climate is paramount. Remeha offers a wide product portfolio including gas- and even hydrogen-fired heating systems. However, for Zonnefabriek, Remeha's heat pump boilers are their most interesting product.

Heat pump boilers by Remeha

What started with bicycle frames and metal trade (the name Remeha is derived from 'Van Reekum's metal trade') eventually resulted in heating boilers. These became more economical and efficient over the years and now the company has also taken the next step in the energy transition, towards highly efficient and sustainable heat pump systems.

Zonnefabriek has chosen Remeha because of the high quality, long lifespan and the low maintenance required. Remeha's heat pump boilers can produce water with a temperature of up to 75 C: this allows more energy to be stored, which makes for a perfect combination with solar panels. The boiler tank is used as a kind of battery that charges during the day and releases the stored energy in the evening and at night in the form of lovely warm tap water. This makes you more independent of mains power and allows you to benefit fully from your own clean energy.
