David van der Burg (1977) is the Managing Director and co-founder of Zonnefabriek.

In 2009, he founded Zonnefabriek together with two university friends, making him one of the first solar energy providers in the Netherlands. According to David, the greatest challenge lies in the fact that energy is a low-interest product with high potential. His mission is to remove barriers and make sustainable energy accessible to everyone. He regularly writes about developments in the energy market and enjoys sharing his vision for Zonnefabriek. Fun fact: David has a background in biology.
