An inverter sometimes loses the internet connection with the rest of the installation or with the outside world 'just like that'. Sometimes the cause of this is unclear, but what often helps to solve the problem is to perform a 'reset'. We usually do this by temporarily de-energizing the inverter on both DC and AC side. But with a battery system, such a 'reset' is a lot more difficult: not only the panels and the grid, but also the batteries must then be switched off.
That is quite a hassle, because there are switches on each individual battery module that need to be turned off and those switches are often difficult to reach. That's why we provide here a way to perform a reset via the software, instead of via the switches. For this you use your smartphone.
