Take your SMA Energy App and click on 'My display area' at the bottom right

Find the QR code on your inverter: here in the red circle

Click on 'Quick access to devices' in the SMA Energy App. The phone usually asks if you want to give the app access to your camera: grant permission

Point the scanner at the QR code: now the login screen opens

Log in to the inverter in the user group 'Installer' with the password in the form 0+postal code+_zf

Go to settings and click on 'Device parameters'

Click on 'Device'

Click on 'System'. Now a number of parameters open including 'Activate Device Restart'

Scroll back up and click on 'edit parameters'

Scroll back down and set the parameter 'Activate device restart' to 'Execute'

Scroll back up and click on 'Save All'. This will initiate the restart of the inverter.

During the restart you will temporarily lose contact with the inverter. All lights on the inverter will go out and after some time all come back on. After a few minutes, only a constant green and blue LED will be lit on the inverter again. If all goes well, communication will also resume.
