Since 2009, Solarcircle has been dedicated to its mission: installing solar panels on every roof. Operating in the Netherlands, under the name Zonnefabriek, we have established ourselves as a prominent player in the market having successfully installed 15.000 solar roofs. Zonnefabriek is a pioneering specialist in the field of solar energy. With a blend of commercial acumen, idealism, and creativity, we have established our name in the Netherlands. We sell and install solar systems nationwide and are constantly exploring innovative ways to make solar energy accessible for everyone. About the role:

We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial (starting) commercial manager to establish and lead the commercial side of our new subsidiary in Spain. You will initially focus on lead generation and online sales for Solarcircle Spain while you are located in our office in Amsterdam, this to get familiar with the solar business and our company and culture. After 3-6 months you will be relocating back to Barcelona area, where you will continue with lead and sales generation and creating a strategy to increase the number of valuable sales. Because it is a new company that is in the startup phase, your activities will be quite broad in the beginning, therefore being a self-starter is extremely important. This role offers the exciting prospect of evolving into the position of Commercial Director. As a key player, you will be responsible for setting up and driving the commercial success of our Spanish company. This is a challenging and exciting role, requiring a high level of proactivity and an entrepreneurial mindset.

 

What are we looking for:

Pioneer: A proactive and driven individual who can take the lead.

Self-starter: Independent, autonomous, and highly motivated.

Commercially driven: A strong commercial mindset, preferably with experience in sales.

Catalan/Spanish speaking: Speaking Catalan, Spanish and English

Location: Currently residing in Amsterdam area or willing to relocate for a few months. And willing to move back to Barcelona.

Sales experience is a plus: Proficient in conducting sales discussions, with the potential to grow into the role of Commercial Director.

Entrepreneurial experience is a plus: experience in setting up a business will help you in this role, but being an entrepreneurial type can be enough.
