Position based in Barcelona, with around 6 months at our Amsterdam headquarter.

About the role:

We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial commercial manager to establish and lead the commercial operations of our new subsidiary in Spain. Given that this is a startup phase for the new company, your role will initially encompass a broad range of activities, making self-motivation extremely important. 

To succeed in this role, it's essential to work locally and "on the ground" in Barcelona. To fully understand our company and products, you will need to spend the first 3-6 months regularly at our office in Amsterdam.

This position offers the exciting opportunity to evolve into the role of Commercial Director. As a key player, you will be instrumental in setting up and driving the commercial success of our Spanish operations. This challenging and rewarding role requires a high level of proactivity and an entrepreneurial mindset."

Pioneer: You are a proactive and driven individual who can take the lead. You achieve results through commercial and analytical ability, result orientation, networking and good customer and supplier relations.

Self-starter: You operate independently, autonomously and are highly motivated. 

Commercially driven: A strong commercial mindset and experience in sales, with the potential to grow into the role of Commercial Director.

Analytical: You can oversee a complex whole of issues, opportunities and stakeholders.

Catalan/Spanish speaking: Speaking Catalan, Spanish and English

Entrepreneurial mindset: You are capable of creating business plans, business cases, and more. Experience in setting up a business is beneficial for this role; however, possessing an entrepreneurial mindset may be enough.

Interest in sustainable energy: We love people with a passion for sustainable energy
